Those who believe to have a unique million dollars app idea are often non tech people 😄

That reminds me The Truman Show film. A guy believes that he lives in the real world but in fact it's a man made one. Everything in there is set up on purpose.

Yes right, they only count commits on the main branch. Once you merge to main, your contribution graph will be updated.

I went straight from #Xcode 12.5 to 13.1 yesterday. The interface is much nicer and more informative. I can now see the name of the branch that I'm working on but auto completion is still very buggy. In some cases it doesn't auto complete at all. Does anyone have the same issue?

That is because the event was cancelled last year and they don't want to throw away all the medals 😄

I turned off auto update. Say no every time iOS asks me to do but somehow my iPhone is always up to date. Now I have to update #Xcode just to be able to run apps on my iPhone.

I think the question is not about being right or wrong. Both sides have their own arguments. After all I think all codes are "garbage" in a sense. The piece of code that you're proud of today will eventually be deleted in the future. We all understand that 😄

Either you do or dont't do something, you're right in both cases. My colleague is very skeptical on #JetpackCompose adoption among the community while I do like it. So I think I'll just go on and use it for my personal projects. He has his own reasons and I also have mines 😄

Can you be more specific? What @OptIn... we can use to avoid adding all these experimental annotations?

— Nhon Nguyen (@_ntnhon) September 16, 2021

While I can use the 1.0.0 and get rid of all these annotations it would be a pain. Here are some APIs that are needed in many cases but still in alpha: sticky header for list, swipe to refresh, navigation transition animation...

I couldn't agree more. However they are both very new frameworks, let's give them some more time 😄

I didn't know that golang doesn't try/catch 😄

Yes I'm already fully vaccinated since July 😄

Being vaccinated is like having try catch in your code. You don't necessarily need it in the hope that your app will always execute on the happy path. However errors can always occur even with try catch. The choices are yours.
